Live

This dashboard provides live real-time productivity statistics for radiologists currently on shift. It allows section leaders, administrators, and managers to quickly assess the workload, productivity, and efficiency of each radiologist. Here’s a breakdown of each section and how to interpret the data effectively.

1. Navigating the interface

  • Left Sidebar: Use the sidebar to navigate between various sections like "Neuro," "MSK," "Mammo," "Body," etc.

  • "Live" Section: The "Live" section under each category (e.g., Neuro) shows real-time data on radiologists' productivity. Selecting this provides a summary of currently active radiologists and their performance.

2. Understanding the Total Productivity Summary

The main area in the "Live" tab is the Total Productivity Summary table, which displays key metrics for each radiologist on shift.

  • Columns:

    • Radiologist: Name of the radiologist currently working.

    • Shift: Current shift or assignment for the radiologist.

    • wRVU Done / wRVU Goal: Displays the work Relative Value Units (wRVU) completed against the goal for each radiologist.

    • Exams: Shows the number of exams read by each radiologist during their shift.

    • Quick Overview: By checking the color-coded values in the wRVU Done / wRVU Goal column, you can easily assess whether a radiologist is meeting their productivity targets:

      • Green values indicate meeting or exceeding the target.

      • Red values indicate falling short of the target.

This summary table provides an easy way to see at a glance who is on target and who may need support or an adjustment in workload.

The Total Productivity Summary dropdown menu provides various live statistics options, allowing you to view specific productivity metrics for currently active radiologists. Here’s a description of each available option:

  • Total Productivity Summary: Displays a general overview of each radiologist’s current productivity, including total wRVU done, wRVU goal, and exams read.

  • % of Hourly Goal Reached: Shows the percentage of each radiologist’s hourly productivity goal that has been achieved, helping you quickly see who is on track for the hour.

  • wRVU / Goal / Hour: Indicates the rate at which each radiologist is progressing towards their hourly wRVU goal, providing insight into their productivity efficiency.

  • wRVU / Hour: Displays the work Relative Value Units (wRVUs) completed per hour, allowing you to assess productivity in real time.

  • Exams / Hour: Shows the number of exams read per hour by each radiologist, offering a straightforward view of workload and exam turnover.

  • wRVU / Goal since the shift began: Provides the wRVU goal progress for each radiologist since the beginning of their shift, allowing you to track cumulative productivity over the shift period.

Selecting any of these options updates the data displayed in the dashboard, tailoring the productivity view to your specific needs. This dropdown menu enables quick switching between metrics to gain a more detailed or summary-level view of each radiologist’s performance.

3. Graph for Productivity Metrics

Below the summary table, a graph provides a visual representation of productivity over time, showing the following:

  • Working Rads: The number of active radiologists on shift.

  • wRVU / Hour: The rate at which wRVUs are being completed by the active radiologists.

  • wRVU / Rad / Hour: The rate of wRVUs completed per radiologist per hour.

This graph helps in quickly identifying trends and monitoring hourly productivity. The lines allow you to track changes in real-time, which can help in identifying peak and off-peak productivity hours.

4. Detailed Individual Performance

Below the main graph, the Radiologist Performance Panel displays individual performance details for each radiologist.

  • Shift Time and Duration: Shows the shift timings and how long the radiologist has been active.

  • wRVU Progress: A progress bar shows how close they are to meeting their wRVU goal.

  • Exams Count: The total number of exams completed by the radiologist in their shift.

The progress bar, along with a percentage, quickly indicates if a radiologist is on track (shown as “Done” when they meet or exceed their target).

5. Using Filters and Auto-Refresh

  • Range Selection: Use the range filter (e.g., "Today") to adjust the timeframe for the displayed statistics.

  • Auto-Refresh: This feature updates the data at regular intervals, ensuring that you always see the latest productivity statistics.

6. Quick Tips for Monitoring Productivity

  • Check the Summary Table: Quickly assess who is meeting or missing targets by reviewing the color-coded wRVU column.

  • Review the Graph for Trends: Use the graph to detect productivity patterns throughout the day and identify hours of peak activity.

  • Evaluate Individual Performance: Use the detailed performance information under each radiologist’s name to review productivity, which is useful for performance evaluations and shift adjustments.

Summary

This dashboard offers a comprehensive, real-time overview of radiologist productivity, making it easy to monitor performance, ensure workload balance, and identify productivity trends. Use the color-coded summary table and detailed graphs to quickly evaluate each radiologist’s output and adjust staffing as necessary to meet operational goals.
